Biography
Karen!, a Los Angeles native rasied in Houston began performing in stage plays at seventeen with the Main Street Theatre.She attended Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and later went on to study acting at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she spent several years learning a range of training methods (Linklater, Meisner, IPA, LeCoq, Williamson, Fitzmaurice, Laban).Since then karen has had guest-starring and recurring roles on "The Sarah Silverman Program",and "My Name Is Earl" to name a few.
She has made numerous television appearances in national and regional commercials and has worked in films along side notable veterans like Larry Miller and Andy Dick.
Aside from film and television,Karen has performed across the country in musical productions like "Dreamgirls", South Pacific and "Smokey Joe's Cafe".Her portrayal of Aunt Ethel in the production of "The Colored Museum" by George C. Wolfe won her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a play by the L.A Stage Alliance.
